Registration

How can I register to the WaroftheWits portal?

Visit www.WaroftheWits.com, click Get Started button, then click on Hello Anonymous! menu and then on Register.
You can now register using any of these methods: 1) your Google account 2) your Facebook account 3) your existing Email id.
(e.g. Enter your unique Username, Password and Email id and click Register. A verification email is sent to the entered email id.
Click the link in the received email to activate your WaroftheWits account.)

I am getting “Username is already taken...” message. What should I do?

You (or someone else) might have already registered with the given Username. If you are registering for the first time, then try with a slightly different Username.

I am getting “Email is already taken...” message. What should I do?

Check if you had registered earlier using a different method - Google or Facebook account.
Also, cross-check if you have already registered with the same Email id.
Finally, click Forgot Password link below the Login button. Alternatively, try registering with a different Email id.

Login

I am registered now! How can I login to the WaroftheWits portal?

Visit www.WaroftheWits.com, click Get Started button. Now click Hello Anonymous! dropdown menu and then Log in.
Enter your registered Email id/Password (or choose your Google/Facebook account if you had registered through it).

I am unable to login to the WaroftheWits portal?

First, check if you are using the same method to login that you used to register earlier (Google/Facebook/Email account).
Then, check if you are using the same email that you had used to register.
Finally, try procedures like restart browser or clear cache or enter incognito mode and re-attempt login.

I forgot my password : ( How can I recover it? )

Click Forgot Password link right below the Login button at the Login page.
Enter the Email Id that you had used to register and then click the Email Link button.
This sends a link to your email id which can be clicked and eventually your password can be reset.
(For the above procedure to work, you need to first have your email account verified at the time of registration.
If you had not done so.. then first find the registration/confirmation email in your email inbox.
Click the link in the email and then try the above recovery procedure).

“Email does not exist or is not confirmed...” message appears on clicking Forgot Password link. What should I do?

First, cross-check the entered email id.. Try selecting/entering the email id again - very carefully this time.
Check whether the same email id (or some other email id) was used at the time of registration.
Now, again click the Forgot Password link - below the Login button.
For the Forgot Password to work, you first need to have your email account verified..
So, search for the confirmation email (sent during registration) in your email inbox, click it's link and try to recover password.

Voucher

How can I apply the voucher?

Logon to the WaroftheWits portal, click Buy or Try menu and then click Apply Voucher menu item.
Enter your voucher code very carefully next to the Apply button and then click the Apply button.

How can I check which vouchers (licenses) are successfully applied?

After logging in, click Buy or Try menu, then click Apply Voucher.
Check all the Module names listed under Used Vouchers list. Also, check their Used On and Valid Till dates.

I am getting “Invalid voucher...” message. What should I do now?

First, check if you have entered the exact voucher code as provided to you.
Note that voucher codes are hexadecimal numbers so they have ‘0-9’ digits and ‘A-F’ letters only.
Vouchers are case-sensitive and can have digit ‘0’ (zero) but never the letter ‘O’.

Squad

How can I join or re-join a Squad (batch) created my Educator or other Students?

After logging in, click Squads menu and then click Join a Squad.
Select a Module (e.g. Class 10 - Science) then click the Search button. A list of all available squads is displayed for the module.
Now click the Join button next to the Squad you wish to join.

How can I quit or exit from a Squad?

After logging in, click Squads menu and then click My Squads.
Click the Search button to search all the Squads that you have created or joined.
Now click the Warriors button next to a Squad that you wish to exit. This lists all the members of the Squad.
Just click the Unjoin button next to your name - in the Squad members list.

I am an Educator. How can I remove someone from my Squad?

After logging in, click Squads menu and then click My Squads.
Click the Search button to search all the Squads that you have created or joined or have access to.
Now, click the Warriors button next to a Squad to lists all the members of the Squad.
Note that the Educators are listed seperately from Warriors (students) - under Grandmaster list.
Finally, just click the Remove button next to the name of person you would like to remove from your Squad.

I am unable to view the Squad(s) created by my Educator. What should I do?

#Click Squads menu and then click Join a Squad.
Select a Module (e.g. Class 10 - Science) for which you want to search a Squad.
WITHOUT entering any name in the Squad/Batch Name field, click the Search button.
A list of all available squads is displayed for the module. Just click the Join button next to the Squad you wish to join.
*In case you still don't see any Squad(s) and also you have recently registered/applied the vouchers, follow the steps listed below:
Click Hello <your name> menu and then click Log off. Now, close your internet browser (Chrome/Edge) and re-launch it.
Proceed for Log in: i.e. click Get Started button. Now click Hello Anonymous! dropdown menu and then Log in.
After logging in, follow the steps listed above# i.e. Click Squads menu and then click Join a Squad. Select a Module...
